The Deering Middle School After School Program is a partnership between the Kent County YMCA and the West Warwick School Department. The partnership is made possible through a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. The after school program is a place to learn and have fun. We are involved in all sorts of activities - everything from building robots out of legos to playing soccer. Like our blog to keep up to date on what we are doing!

Spring is on it's way!
The beautiful garden the kids created this summer is starting to bloom - even though there is a pile of snow sitting on it! Check out the flower that are growing near the window. Hopefully we'll be out there soon pulling weeds and enjoying the picnic benches.
